FPL GW37 Preview

Two Gameweeks left to go, and my advice is the same as it has been for the last few weeks regarding Transfers and Team Selection.

Brighton, Chelsea, Man City and Man Utd all Double this week, so have three Fixtures to play rather than the two everyone else has, so they are the ones to Target.

Apart from Chelsea, they are truly awful. And they play the two Manchester sides.

Double Gameweek 37

Brighton: Southampton (H), Man City (H)

Chelsea: Man City (A), Man Utd (A)

Man City: Chelsea (H), Brighton (A)

Man Utd: Bournemouth (A), Chelsea (H)

Brighton have a great Fixture and a difficult one so, Steele in goal and Defender’s Dunk and Estupinan wouldn’t be high on my Watchlist, and Midfielder’s Mitoma and MacAllister are experiencing Rotation, but with the injury to March it does make them more likely to start.

I am worried about the Man City assets, with them being on course for the Treble, with the FA Cup and Champions League Finals to come after the conclusion of the Premier League season. 1 point will secure them the title, or if Arsenal lose, and when the title is wrapped up I can see mass rotation to save the players for the two Finals. I wouldn’t be comfortable bringing any City players in this Gameweek, as with two games to play, I cannot say for certain who will start both. I only own Haaland and I’m not sure I’ll even be Captaining him for fear of his minutes.

Man Utd are the team to Target this week I would argue. They are still in the fight for third place so have everything to play for. De Gea is in contention to win the Golden Glove for the most Clean Sheets so he is a great shout this week, as is Shaw, whose versatility at left back and left centre back makes him as nailed on as you can hope for. Rashford has been pictured in training so I would be hopeful he would play. I’m not sure I would be as confident to Captain him due to a minutes risk. Fernandes would be the man I would be looking at, but is a lot more expensive than Rashford. Anthony, Sancho and Martial I am not hot on.

As for Captaincy, as I say, Haaland and any Man City option aren’t convincing me. Rashford isn’t either due to his minutes after the injury. Fernandes if you have him I would say is my top bet.

It’s the kind of week where there will be a huge variance in Captaincy, making everyone a Differential option.

Gameweek 37 Deadline is Saturday 20th May 11:00am.
